At the beginning of the New Year, on the morning of 5th January, the School Lecture Hall of the east campus was packed with more than 500 parents from both the east and west campuses who attended the 7th Activity of Anqing Foreign Language School’s Home-School Forum.
To be specific, the home-school forum is the bridge between school and family and a platform connecting school education and family education as well. Therefore, it has been well received by parents and has been successfully held for six sessions since it started. The 7th lecture was delivered by Deputy Director Liu Qiongdan and presided over by Vice Principal Liu Bing. Meanwhile, Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Huang Wenli attended the lecture.
The topic of Vice Director Liu Qiongdan’s lecture was ‘It Is Fortunate to Have You on the Road of Growth’. Firstly, the lecture analyzed the prominent problems existing in the current home education. Then, in combination with her own educational concept, Vice Director Liu Qiongdan shared with parents the concept and methods of family education, putting forward that parents should be the partners on the road of their children’s growth. After listening to the whole lecture, President Madam Huang Wenli was deeply impressed and shared her ideas and methods of home education. Madam President also suggested that parents actively support their children to participate in various quality activities organized by the school so as to jointly promote children’s healthy and happy development.
Furthermore, parents took an active part in this informative event, listening carefully and taking notes earnestly, which showcased that our parents attached great significance to children’s education and were willing to learn. We firmly believe that home-school cooperation shall not only go hand in hand, but also make education more beautiful and let our children be more successful!
